Hell
For some reason, I just caught Deion's opening speech to his new team. What a twat that I hope crashes and burns. Who brings a camera crew into a meeting to dress down a bunch of kids he's never met before?
His schtick will get as many transfer portal guys as he loses. Colorado is going to be a wild case study.

Wisconsin running an offense based in RPOs and vertical routes with receiver optionality is impossibly weird.

On the one hand, it is the kind of scheme that lets you punch up. But there are going to be times their shots just aren't falling and he has zero interest in going away from it. So they'll just get their teeth kicked in by Northwestern randomly and never get anywhere.

There were rumors even before Longo moving on that teams were trying to get him to transfer. But he’s a legacy there.

North Carolina honestly seems like a sinking ship right now. Tony Grimes & Storm Duck entered the portal. They could have probably tried their hands at the NFL but I guess they want another year elsewhere to try to boost their stock.

It will be interesting to see if they can attract the skill guys to make it work outside of RB. Wisconsin needs to be good to keep the division alignment at least slightly competitive.

Grimes certainly hasn't lived up to that high school ranking. He's probably undraftable at this point. He's also really young because he reclassified, so another year in a new system is probably for the best to see if he can make something of it.

Yeah I know he hasn’t lived up to the hype. He’s still drawing interest from top programs though. So banking on the traits & hoping you can fix him as North Carolina was a dumpster fire on defense this year.

I guess we’ll see but for a lot of the concern of the transfer portal in regards to NIL we really haven’t seen any big shocker’s enter to this point.

The market doesn’t look too different than it normally does pre-NIL. The value in regards to the big schools is still at the QB position & players transferring up from small non-P5 schools.

The big schools are still filling a lot of the portal up with guys who couldn’t crack their two deep. The good players getting playing time at big schools without coaching changes are to this point still sticking.

I remember watching his recruitment with Georgia pretty close because he was a VA Beach kid (I lived there for 9 years) and I thought him, Ringo, and Jalen Kimber would be the best CB class ever assembled. His quick twitch and ball skills were over the top at the high school level, even for the Hampton Roads area which produces a shit ton of athletes. Let's hope someone other than Dre Bly can unlock the skill set.

Best leaving letter to this point!

Lol, not sure that's going to help his cause.

I’m honestly surprised Roman or Garrett would even want the job unless the school is gonna get more serious about football. You’re already behind the 8 ball with higher academic standards than the big schools. Now you’re adding NIL & a landscape that looks like it’s headed towards a professional minor league system. I guess low expectations is a selling point but it’s getting harder & harder to get players there unless something changes.

I knew my good vibes were pointing the right direction. I drafted this guy like 1231234 times in the 2462468 mocks I did purely based off my gut reaction from his name. Saw some of him this year and I was like okay this is a lot better than my initial hunch.

Where do some of these guys get the idea that they’re ready to play on Sundays? If you’re a middle weight QB in the PAC12, how do you think that you’re going to fare playing the big boys?

I think we're well beyond the point where we should stop declaring we know anything at all about Shaw-era Stanford offensive skill players. McKee's got rosterable NFL talent, but not a person on earth knows what he can actually do right now. The postseason stuff is going to be fascinating for him.
