I'm not kidding when I say this is my least favorite outcome for a championship game. I've never really liked KU basketball, not only do they screw my bracket every year (usually because they underachieve), but I also am of the opinion that the sports media and their fans act like the Basketball world owes them something because Naismith is from there. And yet, they have the exact same number of championships as NC State, Oklahoma State, Cincinnati, Florida, Michigan State, etc. Hell Villanova has more than them. Why should they be considered a "blue-blood"?

But I'm going to have to root for then. I don't want to, but tomorrow and Monday is going to be unbearable for me. Hell it already is now. I really don't want to have to listen to and look at Tar Heel championship shit for the rest of the Spring/Summer.

Well, UNC ain't gonna be happy tonight, but that was a hell of a run. And really, they beat Duke in the one and only tourney matchup ever- the real victory was the Dukies they beat along the way.

That was a tough way to lose. I’d convinced myself that win or lose I’d be satisfied, because of the ending of K …. but … I also didn’t think they’d be able to hang with Kansas, much less have a 16 point lead at any point.

Amazing run. Tough way to lose. But better to be there than … not.
