Btw elevators at my hotel were still out. Glad I wasn't on top floor.

As I said, glad to hear your safe and sound.

Watched CNN and apparently the earthquake caused some damage via fires and shit but no fatalities thankfully. They say there could be some real big after shocks. Some crazy scary shit going down in SoCal for sure...wow

I cant believe what the Clippers gave up to acquire George. 4 unprotected 1sts, 1 protected 1st, 2 pick swaps, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (1st round pick #11 in 2018) and Gallinardi.

Rumors are swirling that OKC will look to trade Westbrook next.

Is there a limit in the NBA how far our you can trade picks? If the picks were in succession of each other, the Clippers wont have a 1st until 2025.

With the injury and load management concerns they have acquired, I hope LAC miss the playoffs and have mortgaged their future with that gamble.

Can probably say that 9 teams in the NBA could claim they have a shot to win a title this season.

Philly, Boston, Milwaukee, Clippers, Lakers, Utah, Denver, Portland, Houston.

That's a significant upgrade to the past decade. There are some other good teams that I left out too that will be playoff contending teams.

Really like what Utah and Portland did. West is going to be another grinder. Bottom of the East is open. I'd expect Indy, Miami, Toronto, Brooklyn, and Detroit to be solid. Some other young squads could find there way in there.

The NBA regular season just became fun to watch again.

If Oladipo is healthy and back to his best Indiana is a top-4 team in the East. Losing Bogdanovic sucks but they added Brogdon and Warren.

Looks like Westbrook is about to be dealt.

Had to think that was going to be the case.

Not sure what teams have money and asset wise, but I could see Miami, Detroit, or Orlando trying to get him. Westbrook and Butler backcourt would be wild. Westbrook with Griffin and Drummond might work too.

Butler and Russ is the kind of NBA experience I need. It would be wild to watch on and off the court lol

I would not be surprised if they really get along. Similar style and they have a similar personality on and off the court. Could be toxic too. It would be exciting tho

Not only is Westbrook gonna cost way more than he's worth in a trade, he also has a 15% trade kicker that'll bump his cap hit to $50M+ in a couple of years. It's a poison pill contract.

Knicks just need to take their lumps, keep building, and utilize their cap flexibility when it opens up. Kawhi and PG3 going to the Clippers is huge for those Mavs picks because the West is gonna be a slaughterhouse for the next few years.

Listened to the Woj podcast yesterday and the Knicks did come up, but both him and Lowe agreed they are not a fit and will likely not pursue it.

Miami has the be the leader on this. Houston came up today and I wonder how this would even work. There is no way OKC takes back Paul's contract and if they take the other roster players, Houston is left with 3 guards and not much else.

Randle and Payton were ones I liked. Portis is ehhh.

Ellington, Gibson and Bullock were moronic.

Do they think they’ll get anything for these guys next year? Cause they won’t.

The Knicks should have been fielding the Igodula and Harkless type deals with their cap space. Instead they spent it all on 7 power forwards.

So Memphis absorbed some bad contracts and got 1st and two 2nd rounders. Knicks are signing Taj Gibsons.

Edit: The contracts aren't even bad
