Kadri finished 12th in all hockey in center scoring at age 22.

This year at age 23, during a "down" year and having missed 4gms, he's tied for 29th in centre scoring.

And you guys are arguing that he's a third line center? Are you crazy or just stupid?

Probably a bit of both lol.

" Haters gonna hate"

Can it be both?
People will continue to find new and creative ways to dislike Kadri, no matter what he does. Got to just sit back and laugh at it. Keep it up Kadri, and continue to be our best centre. :yo:
Think how good he will be in four years when he is Bozak's age. AINEC

I just wish Kadri would play defence better. He has great vision and can create on offense but horrible in the middle defensively

I take full responsibility for it.
Not having the greatest day today

He makes one mistake? And he isnt good at it?
Youngsters will make mistakes. He will learn
Its again of him not moving. If he skates. He looks good

I don't get why he stops there. Some of our players pull the same stunt.

Hey Nathan, where the heck do you think that player was headed? To the bench.

One mistake???? Have you watched him play in his own end? He makes the same mistakes defensively, to me that's not a technical or system issue that's a lazy problem in his own end. He has to get a grip on this that you have to play smart both ways and hard

Okay and he is young

I have seen like 2 great backchecks tonight

Three apples so far tonight....he's crap, trade him (lol). I love the kid- I hope he's a Leaf for life. He's exciting, passionate and really fun to watch. It's been e he'll of a long time since the Leafs drafted a guy like this and they better leave him with Lupol and Kuli because that line is heating up big time.

3 point night tonight, 2 goal game against TB. Killed MTl a while back. He's heated up these past few games. Kulemin has been huge with him

3 pts, awesome. Thank god Randy took that bum Raymond off of his line. Much much better with Kulie there.

Also, I mentioned this in the GDT, but I really do think that constant trade talk from Darren Dreger was all a set-up by Leafs management to burn a fire under him. Literally since the Montreal game, I have not seen even one mention of Kadri in trade talks, even Darren Dreger, who literally kept mentioning his name non-stop for a good week or two, has not uttered his name even once.

I think putting Mason Raymond on your line is the equivalent of sitting in the corner or writing out lines on the board. Everyone goes away that has to play with him lately. Leave Kadris line alone- put Clarkson and Bolland together with someone else and we have 3 solid lines.

I doubt it. Leafs needed an upgrade at center badly. But, not anymore. Plus, I doubt a bunch of NHL analysts would risk their credibility to play along with a hoax.

I'd agree with that, trading Kadri just doesn't make sense. Didn't seem like a Dave Nonis move to be "desperately" trying to get rid of a young C with #1 potential. (Our only one for that matter)

I know anyone's touchable if it makes the team better but C depth is the Leafs biggest weakness and I don't see anytime wanting to trade us an upgrade over Kadri.

It'll be quite nice to watch a Leaf's first rounder develop on our roster for once.

It's not really a hoax for the analysts though, they were simply relaying what Nonis was saying, they're not exactly liable for what a GM says as it could/could not be true. Nonis is the one who flat out said that he would trade Kadri if a good offer was made but wasn't 'actively' looking to trade him, which is a strange statement for a GM to make as usually they just flat out deny everything completely.

Nonis could've just been the typical GM and said "Kadri is not going anywhere" or whatever.

I just find it really strange how it was so persistent right up until the Montreal game, and literally right after the trade talk completely evaporated.

I don't mean to say otodaso but I was preaching for a very long time to get Raymond off of Kadri's line because he was killing his offense with his annoying puck-hog play-style, everyone told me "hurr durr were paying him 1M he's the least of our problems" despite that statement having nothing to do with their on-ice chemistry (incredibly annoying logical fallacy). Now that Mason "lives in a tunnel" Raymond is off of his line is offense has come back to life..

I don't mean to say otodaso BUT I ****IN ATODOSO!!!!

Not a pressing need for playoff contention but to become a cup contender its necessary.

The last major need is D. Nonis needs to examine the entire core to come up with three solid pairings that can grow together over the next few years.

Keep: Phaneuf, Gunnar, Rielly, Gleason
Bubble: Gardiner
Remove: Franson, Ranger. Fraser
