They need tank commanders and to meet the salary floor. Poole and Kuzma are going to get PAID to land WAS a top-4 pick every draft for the next 4 years

I thought we were tanking man wtf is this re-signing kuz shit

i mean it's nice to retain a player and see players that actually want to stay here but still. the goal was to tank in 23-24, and then reap the benefits of high draft picks. this ain't it
Well considering really no asset tank to get the ball rolling this is a bit of ninja tank. Have to be flexible.

Still like Rui but man if he could rebound a bit more and play a bit better defense he could have been in the next class of ballers.

When the Caps had a firesale they kept Kolzig and Witt, mostly for marketing. This is probably no different.

Local DC rugby team falls short in Boston 25-7. Season is over.

They tees off at like 6:30 this morning because of the weather forecast. Leaders went off around 8:30 I believe.

I know but the broadcast seems to be on delay. Instead of showing the whole thing earlier they let it finish and are showing it later "on tape", I guess.

Lame.

“Behind closed doors, there have been rumors Crews fancies the idea of playing in Washington. So much so that the Boras camp has purportedly thrown gaudy signing bonus demands at the Pirates to land Crews.”

Can't go wrong with either Skenes or Crews but if Crews really doesn't want to play for Pittsburgh we will gladly take him

There is a scenario where Crews and Skenes would be available at number two...would want to be the one making that decision.

The framework agreement between Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which finances LIV, and the PGA and DP World Tours has supposedly brought a ceasefire to the sport’s civil war, but animosity still abounds and Poulter implied that executives at the traditional tours should face consequences for their dramatic volte-face.

The framework agreement states that there will be a “fair and objective process” for LIV players to rejoin their former tours, but Westwood and Poulter would need to pay more than £1 million combined in fines under the present stipulations.

After rubbishing the prospect of paying such fines, insisting they “aren’t justified”, Poulter was asked if heads needed to roll before he would be willing to return to the DP World Tour. “Yes. People need to be accountable for their actions,” he said.

Well, they are ballsy……if anything.

Since then, the Tour has been working behind the scenes to seal these documents from public view, thus indicating that they are worried about what the lawsuit has revealed.

Within this document, the tour referred to the DP World Tour as an “underinvested and borderline distressed asset” despite the PGA Tour entering a strategic alliance with the circuit formerly known as the European Tour in 2020.

It also revealed that the PGA Tour wanted to capitalize on the Ryder Cup, which only creates positive returns for the DP World Tour every four years.

That’s right. The DP World Tour loses money every year when the Ryder Cup is not played on European soil.

Crazy shit….

Some reports have indicated that Monahan and the PGA Tour will have complete control of golf operations going forward. But then Yasir al-Rumayyan, the governor of PIF, told LIV Golfers that ‘his f—ing baby’ is not going anywhere.

2023 MLB Future Game this Saturday. Looks like James Woods and Brady House representing the Nationals.

Could be an exciting week for the Nats future. Sounds like Pitt is going to be cheap in the draft and the Nats will have the choice of the top bat and arm.
