Stephen A. is on an MVP-caliber run right now in terms of making stuff up as he goes. Hugely impressive.
I think Cowherd is giving him a run for his money. He’s had some horrendous misses over the past few months including listing Dwayne Haskins as a QB not likely to win the Super Bowl this year and today he said that he didn’t think Seattle could reach a Super Bowl because he didn’t think Geno Smith could lead them through Mahomes or Allen. The Seahawks are in the NFC.

Gap closing quickly at the Tour Championship as guys chasing are letting it rip.

And that f***ing LA/CLE game finally ended after being prematurely delayed by 45min last night, suspended, resumed, delayed AGAIN in the 9th inning, then at last coming to rest below my 8.5 total to complete a 6 leg parlay. Whew.

to be fair, some of those fastballs had so much spin that from Castillo's release point they were breaking arm side like his slider breaks normally. When you've unlocked the inverted slider, nobody's expecting that, so just keep whipping the bad boys. You'd see some keep themselves pretty straight and others break hard right, it was crazy.

Stras is a lot like Matt Harvey but luckier. Same injury but Strasburg won a WS and got paid before his injury took his career.

If a genie told him on draft night, “You’ll win a World Series when you’re 30 and get a fat new contract after that but your career is essentially over by 31; you’ll only make 8 starts once you sign that contract over the next four seasons and you’ll retire due to injury at 35, or you can roll the dice and see how your career turns out without these guarantees,” what would he pick? He could have been one of the all-time greats and a surefire HoFer if he stayed healthy so even though he had a really good career it still feels like a bunch was left on the table.

What freaks me out sometimes is how I'll look up from what I'm doing and Scheffler is in trouble or missing 10 foot putts, and then I'll see him doing it again later, rinse repeat....and he's still always near the top of the leaderboard.

It's like a f***ing magic trick.

Dude probably has 5-6 wins if he could putt better this year….
