@g00n (and anyone else)……thoughts on club fitting these days? My newly hired golf coach wants me to go to his guy at Club Champion to get fit for my new clubs. Now, I’ve been professionally fit before, but after watching a few videos and reading up on Club Champion and their process, seems like this will be by far the most technical fitting I will have ever had. Really looking forward to it.

Thoughts on “puring”? Never done that before…..and is not cheap. Depending on who you read, it’s worth it or it’s not….

Puring/"spine-alignment" was kind of a popular new thing about 20 years ago when shaft technology started taking off and shafts were a lot less consistent off the rack.

I doubt there's much benefit now with better manufacturing tolerances, but I don't know for sure.

I haven't done a launch monitor or lie board fitting in a long time but that's the gold standard, with the right person doing it.

Xander hasn‘t won anything all year, just cashing a ton of checks, but he’s coming on…..Hovland tightening up a little…

Some big money putts right now boys!!!

Yeah - all those PAC-12 athletic directors, especially the ones who made the first move to defect to the Big-[however many the f***], really doing their "student-athletes" right by having those "student-athletes" travel 2 to 3 time zones away on multiple occasions during the "academic" term.

Bunch of greedy-ass clowns. The university-sports industrial complex just drips with the puke and larceny of the f***ing school administrators and athletic dept. ghouls that dress themselves in the garb of "student-athletes", "amateur sports" and "shaping the development of young people."

Smells a lot like the LIV golf stench - people gladly revealing themselves to be performative clowns willing to sell their high-minded ideals to the sleaziest bidder, so long as they get their cut.

As Groucho Marx said: "These are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others." Same as it ever was, sure. But just spare us the piety, when you've show yourselves to be pissants.

Lol daaaaaamn……don’t hold back!

They need to break college football into his own thing. It’s insane that Stanford volleyball or Cal baseball is going to have regularly travel 2,500+ miles to play games just because the dipshit commissioner of the Pac 12 sucked at negotiating a TV deal. These are kids who almost all will not be professional athletes and this is making their college experience more difficult.

Plus, who wants to watch rivalries like USC/Stanford when you can watch NC State battle Cal?

I can see picking JT here based on past performance and the fact that he surged and narrowly missed the playoffs, but there are probably a few guys who will be miffed.

BK, Spieth, Morikawa, and Fowler all OK by me. Not sure who you take out of Young, Finau, Bradley, and Burns. Finau and Bradley have 2 RCs each under their belts and mixed results while the other 2 guys would be rookies.

Sam Burns might be the only one trending in the right direction based on recent finishes.

The European team is very happy with the Thomas pick. The US needs their bottom guys to outplay their counterparts by a reasonable amount and Johnson just made their job easier by picking a guy who has been god awful all season, based on past Ryder Cup performances when he was obviously a top player at the time. The Ryder Cup didn’t make him a good Ryder Cup player, his top notch golf game did. This was a really dumb decision IMO obviously…

Young, Bradley, Finau, Glover all out….

Jacob Young tonight got his first hit, first steal and gunned a runner down at home from centerfield off a pop fly. Impressive night.
