You were there? What section???

Section 552 Row 20. Cat 1 tickets. Italian friend of mine was sat just 20 rows from the pitch. The tickets were allocated randomly by Cat 1-2-3 as they normally are at Wembley with 2 in the corners, 3 behind the goals.

The guys in front had come from BA and support Racing Club and are part of La Guardia Imperial. The brothers behind me supported Banfield and also had come from BA. There was a huge Argentine contingent and an atmosphere like no other.

Oh mine was at 525 way up there

And it looks like the Danes may have stolen it. Apologies to Austrian supporters, but I dint want to see another equalizer, even if probably deserve at least a draw.

Thought you were in Canada. Did you fly over ?

If not that's a pity. Could have met up before the game.

Y ya lo ve, y ya lo ve, el que no salta es un ingles..... :D
I've been living in the Uk for almost a year now. If the food was better I would stay full time.... still would like to.

The Iraqi national team could do better if the best players would play. Seems like its alot of politics behind player choices.

There is 5 iraqis with swedish roots that are good players: Jiloan Hamad, Sumar Almadjed, Amir Al-Ammari, Mohanad Jeahnze and Amhed Yasin. Those 5 with Zidane Iqbal and Mohanad Ali in starting 11 would make the Iraq NT decent. Maybe not enough to qualify WC but still.

How are those hit by the rocks doing? #AFCU23AsianCup

Asian Cup qualifying completed today, like most tournaments they too have expanded in recent years to 24 teams so there are some newbies to the tournament. Tajikistan (ranked 114th in the world) qualify for their first ever Asian Cup, Hong Kong qualify for the first time sincr 1968 (managed by Dane Jorn Andersen who infamously managed North Korea a few years back ) while Malaysia return for the first time since 2007 when they co-hosted

Suprised such a big soccer crazy nation like Philippines did not manage to Qualify. Also Kuwait is a bit suprising, small very rich country just as Qatar, UAE, Baharin.

I somehow feel Southeast Asian teams are far inferior to the rest of the Asian teams like Northeast Asia and the Middle East.

Poor footballing infrastructure for the Philippines. Not really anywhere for their youth to get noticed and grow

He is Norwegian.

Apprently we'll have friendly vs Belgium before the WC, and maybe vs Croatia too

Yet to be confirmed, but it makes sense since Morocco is in their group.

I don't care if we lose those games, as long as they help us improve
