I mean considering Germany on paper is the FAR better team I’d think they’d be doing a whole hell of a lot better.LOL, Werner gets a yellow for asking why it wasn’t a clear advantage.
In Italy? What did you expect?
They aren’t going to do anything without Wirtz. That was an underrated very bad injury. Not going to lie...the scoreboard has me smirking. @cgf
Maybe Low wasn't the problem? Or Maybe they should fire Flick's successor.

They’ve had a huge advantage in possession without any finish so yeah. There’s a pretty strong argument that maximum 2 players (Bastoni and Barella) would break into the German team.Meh, Germany is going to go on the road in Italy and dominate?
My biggest disappointment is in Neuer. Time to put him out to pasture.
I do believe Low was a problem. Or became a problem. But he also had a generation of German footballers with such quality that his successor likely doesn’t have. I think that’s where we’re at.Not going to lie...the scoreboard has me smirking. @cgf

Maybe for an average team but a top 5 team in the world? Hell no. Especially against a team like Italy.I’ll always take a draw on the road.

No but they’re playing a nation that’s been in steep decline for the past decade and missed the WC. If this wasn’t Germany playing then (a team that’s supposed to be top 2-3 in Europe) it’s a different story.8 yellow cards.
They weren’t playing Luxembourg.

I love Tonali and think he should eventually get there but I think right now he wouldn’t be starting over Goretzka or Kimmich. Unless they pushed Goretzka up to AM.Tonali would play for Germany too but yeah that is not their best lineup. Also despite what the WC qualifying says I don't think Italy as players are in decline at all. Their managers are morons.
I don't think that highly of Germany as contenders though for a variety of reasons.

Hungary beating England at least has given the potential of the relegation battle being noteworthy.
Label these matches whatever you’d like, I can’t imagine any one of Germany, Italy or England being happy playing the next edition of this tournament in the “B” league. Germany was relegated in the first edition of the tournament, and the rules were changed to save them the embarrassment of going down a league.
Neither one of these two teams exactly look like an elite “A” level side these days, but going down a league is just a bad look.
I don’t disagree with that, but some big team will pay the price for not putting a certain level of importance on these games.I mean, it'll be funny when England goes from "it's coming home" to the B league.
...but the matches still feel more like friendlies than they do tourney matches or even qualifiers...
Low was trash... im just giving it @cgf after all the Euro snobs and Mpabbe's comments its nice to win one. Losing one game isn't really a big deal... like at all.I do believe Low was a problem.
