Watching the replay of HNIC they went from "what a beat down the Preds are giving the Kings" to start the show to "what a comeback by the Kings down 6-3 to tie it , but lose in OT" at the end of it.

Also, since no one's mentioned it, that's 5 goals in the last 4 minutes and 8 seconds of the last 2 games. That's got to be some sort of abstract record!

Score 6 goals and lose? What is this? 2008?

That did feel like a Marc Crawford era coached game. Hell we saw Kopitar was skating with today's equivalent of Scott Thornton and Kyle Calder and the goalies in net didn't look too far off from resembling Dan Cloutier and Mathieu Garon.

Take this team out back and finish them off like Old ****ing Yeller.

Perhaps Number 77 should be a healthy scratch next game.

Kopitar out with Clifford and King (now that's gonna work!); Richards comes out with Carter and Gaborik, gets caught in the offensive zone, Predator outhustles Muzzin to get a shot away, no-one (Carter or Gaborik) picks up the trailer and any one of us could have scored that one.

This team has dumbass like symptoms.

Right, Sk8M8, kind of entertaining to read now that this thriller is over. Wil Wheaton's Twitter is kind of funny, too.

For today, Van has 4 games in hand and by Thursday they played two of them.

Not worried about Vancouver. They're a team that played over their heads in the first half. Their recent record over the last 10 games is more reflective of how good of a team they are. Plus, their defense is beyond crap.

Challenges

Kings aren't challenged anymore with a 2-goal deficit, having proved this in last season's playoffs and again against VAN the other night. They already showed they can come back from 3 down (against STL a couple of weeks ago), so that challenge has bored them also.

So I guess they wanted to see if they could come back from 4 down. They did, so I am guessing they are gonna try 5 on Thursday night against the Rangers.

This team always cuts it close. I expect this to be a HUGE point at the end of the season. Sucks to lose after that, but damn, what a comeback. Carter's reaction after his goal was perfect. All business.

The Kings are at the best when they are backed into a corner and need to fight for whatever it is that they need. Either it be pride or their lives, they need to be at an inch away from destruction before they really turn it on! That's the Kings for you.

Kopitar is already first in scoring amongs the Kings (tied with Carter). Two weeks and a half ago he was over 10 points behind Carter...
