He's been doing that often in OT lately. And even sometimes in just 4-4.

Yeah, he seems to not want to go to SO so he's going for it. I can appreciate that. DIdn't he say they were unfair to his goalies too? Dont know if that's the motivation but interesting anyway.

They've been inconsistent all year, and they can't afford to keep that lax attitude and afterwards (and how many times this year has one of eth Kings said similar poat game loss)

Tired of hearing that...

But 4 days off leaves plenty of time for DL to make some trades... giving both departing players and arriving ones plenty of time to get settled in

That's what I'm saying. If they really mean what they say about acknowledging how inconsistent they are, then prove you can be consistent and start by winning every game remaining on this home stand.

Also, I highly, HIGHLY doubt DL moves somebody in this long stretch before the Rags game on Thursday night.

Just replayed the last five minutes of the game and remembered I first laughed and second I had that thought that he had forgotten to take his meds when Miller mentioned: "But now we're under 4 minutes to go in the third period, Kings need 3 goals in that short span to tie the game."

I promise I will never laugh again or have such a thought on you, Bob Miller.

Guess I ruffled some feathers by being wholly unimpressed by Filip Forsberg :dunno:

Looked overmatched all night and took some Jarret Stoll penalties. Made one nice pass in OT but Josi did all the work. Great rookie no doubt, but he's gonna get erased when it becomes a man's game out there.

The thing that bothers me most of late is that the Kings are no longer a physical team. They've gotten way too passive.

That's exactly what's irritating the crap out of me too. I think back so much to how OD took care of business that time in St. Louis. I just keep comparing the word Wimpy to the Kings.

Yeah, I 've noticed that too. A bit soft, especially against Calgary and EDM. They ran the Oilers into the ground winning 6-1 at home, I didn't see that at all on the road.

Barely noticied him.

Yeah because who would want a 20 year old rookie who thru 37 games has 14 goals, 36 pts and is a +23.
What a scrub....
A man's game??? He plays in the NHL...

There was this game against Dallas that sticks out, say around 2010 maybe.

Tuuuuuuuurrrrrcoooooo.....Tuuuuuuurrrrcooooooooo! Remember that was the game Brown was racing to a loose puck and Turco came out to play it and do an epic dive against the glass like Brown hammered him.

He was worthless all night tonight after being distracted by Stoll. I said he's easily shakeable. For a guy that's been carrying their offense, we completely erased him for 99% of the game. Do you disagree?

I'd take him on this team in a heartbeat, so don't put words in my mouth. Completely over-the-top reaction.

Rollercoaster...

I believe Brad Doty is talking about when the playoffs start and the game gets tighter, less room to manuever and there's more checking, which I can see happening. You see it all the time. Wouldn't surprise me to see the same happen to Tarasenko as well.

Yeah, I think the Kings got a pp too and scored when Morrow went after him.

Once you are ahead 5-1, there's not much need to carry offense!

Exactly.

No one is going to let him be cute with the puck in the playoffs. He's not that elusive. Smart, creative, great player in the making, but I cant wait to turn him and guys like him into a hitting dummy.
