Jim Fox is back from the future. He knew all along who would get that 7th goal. He didn't want to tip that off. It would've looked suspicious.

edit: I know not everyone had the FSW feed so you won't get it.

Could you guys imagine if we'd won though? One of the greatest comebacks in Kings modern history?

‏@lakingsinsider #LAKings now 5-5-9 in one-goal games, #Preds 16-4-3.

5/19. 26% of one-goal games won.

ETA: just read this Nashville fan's comment:

Thankfully the Kings put a goalie between the pipes for OT ... an empty net is more effective for them.

Ouch.

But we did get 7 goals scored against us, so he has a point.

who were the D on the ice for the Kings for that final score?

i didn't catch that...i was too shocked at the pee-wee level of play there

Canucks fan here, the Kings must have broken some sort of record with those 3 goals.

What a team, I don't think any team will feel confident with a lead anymore vs. the Kings this season

The important number there is just 50% of the points avail in one goal games. And I put up last night the Ducks have gotten 88% in one goal games. And played in 7 more of them than us.

Yep.

Color me actually completely unworried at this point.

While I appreciate the heart and the "never-say-die" attitude, come the **** on with this ******** already. Everything except for the offense was trash today. This team has to get their **** together soon. I can live with the slacking off in November/December. With this 7-game home stand, they have to get their heads out of their ***** and start playing like they give a ****.

Wow.

Domenic Galamini ‏@MimicoHero

"Anze Kopitar with a freakish performance for LA. Kings won the Corsi battle +21/-3 and out-chanced NSH +12/-1 with him on the ice at ES."

And lol,

Dennis Bernstein ‏@DennisTFP 47s48 seconds ago

"Kings Sutter clowning around "I told my team several times we'd have to score 7 goals today to win""

They've been inconsistent all year, and they can't afford to keep that lax attitude and afterwards (and how many times this year has one of eth Kings said similar poat game loss)

‏@lakingsinsider "We're not, obviously, playing to the best of our abilities. Nowhere even close. We've got to turn things around." - Alec Martinez

Tired of hearing that...

But 4 days off leaves plenty of time for DL to make some trades... giving both departing players and arriving ones plenty of time to get settled in

I'd like to see a Kings game where the following happens:

1. DD plays 22 minutes.
2. No D gets a point!
3. Quick only has to make 18 saves.
4. Kings win 3-2, all three by forwards, and 1 on the pp.
5. Kings pk is perfect.

Hey thanks. That actually makes me feel a bit better. Kind of funny that we're celebrating the offense and lamenting the state of our defense. I mean, didn't the Kings win the Jennings Trophy last season?
