1 road win....That is pretty much where discussion ends. Kings won't even make the playoff's with these type of road performances.

Preds fan here, that was a fun game to watch. At least they called both of those so called headshots so no favoritism could be claimed.

To the "fan" who was referring to the Preds being a crappy team, so leading the Central Division = crappy team? Really?

Anyways good luck y'all.

I like your moxie, Bandit. Hell Quick was on the bench, put him in! If he doesn't score at least he'll beat the **** out of someone.

Their inept play on special teams will be their undoing. Their leaders aren't doing much leading either.

Kopitar is what he is, but the guy is suppose to be in his prime right now.

He has had a pretty bad start this season.

Justin Williams and Jake Muzzin have caught Kopitar in terms of production.

Jake Muzzin has played three less games(than Kopitar), and came back slightly injured.

Kopitar had over 2:00 minutes of PP time, and recorded zero shots(on the PP)...Ugh

You sure were quick to jump on that one. Did your spider sense tingle all the way over on the Preds board?

We know you guys have a pretty good team. Let it go.

Kopitar is tied for 10th on the team in total shots with Lewis, and still behind Clifford. Tied for 10th in shots per game, with Pearson, and Clifford again.

On the hits to the head, both were marginal at best. However, both involve coming from a side position, with lateral movement to make contact. The NHL is getting rid of these types of hits gradually. Also, on Mcnabbs, I thought it was one of his cleaner hits. He usually brings his left forearm and elbow sometimes up into the face. Doesn't get called for it too often. Also, some of these are close to being interference. In today's NHL, they want D to turn and skate. Ellis was trying to dump it in, and the puck was rolling, and he couldn't quite do it. And then, wham! So, in many ways, some refs are just sending guys to the box where someone gets lined up a bit, a little high, and no intent to turn and skate. Not like the old days anymore.

It's hilarious how crazy sensitive some opposing fans are. I'm sure they all say nothing but kind things about the Kings on their boards too. ;)

Kopitar had his shot totals drop significantly in the lockout season and they haven't gone back up at all. If you ask me it's the same problem as always, he doesn't utilize his skillset enough offensively, as the team gets more firepower with more skilled Fs like Toffoli, Pearson, Gaborik it seems like he pulled even further back into his shell instead of taking advantage of it. The guy needs to take more responsibility offensively, challenge the defense with more authority, you got the skills for it.

those are all from 4 seasons too. It's not like he was here for decades.

NHL's all-time playoff +/- leader. :help: He's before my time but I have a strong suspicion his play dropped off A LOT after he came to L.A. There's no way he was that bad as an Oiler.

This is just mo but, Kopi came to the Kings as a forward ruling machine. TM messed with his style of play, wanting more D from him. He's developed the habit now of trying to assist on plays, rather than use that fast "I'm gonna score" attitude. It's ok to laugh at what I've said, it's just how I see it.
