Sutter loves to send messages to the team by the players he puts in the SO. Remember in the past when he passed up a lot of the goal scorers to put TL in?

He needs to try something new. The open up the goalie's legs and put it five hole slowly on the backhand has been scouted over, and over, and over, and over again.

-1, 1 SOG 6 for 11 on FO's for 35% 20:57 minutes of ice team. Wake the **** up Kopitar. Quit being a passenger for ****s sakes. Sorry, but he's not worth Toews & Kane money.
 
I didn't like the lines tonight. Gaborik proving he's even more dynamic on his off wing. Maybe he stays on his right?
 
Dwight King is the only one who scored on the SO after 9 rounds against ANA last December 3 in Jones' first game as a pro.

Kopitar had 7 points in the last 7 games leading up to this one and is as far from being a passenger on this team as you can get.
 
Can't say I figured the Kings would have a better overall record than they do at this point, but it would be nice if they looked better doing it. I know it's October and November hockey, and this team has little reason to care about that after the last 3 years, but they've played maybe 5 good games out of 22.

Great individual plays by Gaborik and Doughty tonight. Outshot again though. That's not how the Kings win games.
 
Kopitar has to be one of best player in every game! How many times have I complained that Kopitar can and should do more?

One thing is for sure, I would not give him 10 million a season....

And no I don't want him traded or any of that nonsense before people start.

Someone will give him $10M if the Kings don't, so that's a non-starter right there.

Sorry, did you miss the Dallas & Preds game? He was garbage in both and has only showed up for a handful of the games so far this season.

I guess being the team's leading scorer for forever and a guy who does it all and leading playoff scoring the two times we won the Cup is not enough. If he buckles down he could score like Crosby. And he should never get injured while he's at it.

Shoot now I'm mad.

You're honestly saying Kopitar has been the Kopitar we're used to seeing? He's been far from it.

I'm not talking about playoffs or leading this team in scoring, I'm talking about his play so far this season. It has been less than inspiring.
 
What makes someone cranky, pissed off , with maniacal energy? Bath Salts? Someone give Kopi Bath Salts! Maybe then he can be truly crazy maniacal and foaming at the mouth beast! Maybe cannibalize his opponents while he's at it!

Despite some lapses on both sides, thought it was a pretty damn exciting game; end to end action all night. Good luck guys.
