The Kings have to make a number of decisions with their defense prospects who aren't in the pros/minors.
Both Sean Durzi and Markus Phillips need to be signed (which I think will most likely happen). They also have Mikey Anderson and Cole Hults in college who were both selected in 2017, and they have Jacob Moverare, a 2016 pick who is still 20-years-old, under contract and currently loaned to Frolunda in the SHL.
Brickley, Roy, and Lintuniemi will all be RFAs at the end of the season, and I expect the first two to be retained. Clague, Strand, Walker, MacDermid and Reddekopp are under contract next season (with Clague being the only one in that group on a three-year deal, all the others are on two-year deals).
With both Phillips and Durzi likely to graduate to the AHL next season, the Kings will have to create some space. Reddekopp will likely be demoted to the ECHL or moved to another team, like the Kings did last year when they sent Zac Leslie to Vegas for "future considerations."
In terms of who may graduate to the Kings next season, I figure Walker has an inside track, and Brickley, Roy, Strand and Clague could impress in camp and become regulars in the lineup next season. That opens up spots for junior/college prospects to join Ontario's blueline.
Not knowing who is staying and who is going, it is tough to predict what LA's blueline will look like, but Ontario's top 6/7 next season may consist of Brickley, Roy, Clague, Strand, Phillips, Durzi, MacDermid/Reddekopp.
