Wild Horses, is of course, a Rolling Stones song, but it was first recorded by Gram Parsons while with the band "The Flying Burrito Brothers" The dates of release aren't so important as they were released pretty close together. Burrito Brothers album "Gilded Palace of Sin" was released in 1969 and the Stones album "Sticky Fingers" was released in 1971.The Flying Burrito Brothers was a band consisting (among others) of Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman. Chris was an original member of "The Byrds" and Gram was at one point a part of The Byrds as a hired musician, but never an official member of the band. Anyway, this is the first print of Wild Horses.

Here's a short interview with Gram talking about Wild Horses.

Gram Parsons is the guy who first took EmmyLou Harris into his band and as so is credited with discovering her, but she would have fared just as well on her own.

Here's a song they recorded together that is most famously known as a song by Nazareth.(Also recorded by Orbison). The song was written by the Boudleaux brothers and originally recorded in 1960 by the Everly Brothers. They also wrote the hits, "Wake Up Little Susie", "All I Have To Do Is Dream" and "Bye, Bye Love" for the Everly Brothers.

Here's Love Hurts by Gram Parson and Emmylou Harris. Gram was an interesting cat and the tale of his death and funeral is a pretty wild ride.

Talk about hair. Oh the 80's.

My admiration for Rob Halford notwithstanding, the phrase was originally, and still would be but for the power of common usage by the unwashed masses, another think coming. Those who think that those who think that it should be another think coming have another thing coming, have another think coming.

Finding myself watching reaction videos these days, and really enjoying it! Younger generations listening to classics for the first time and giving you a honest reaction to it. Reminds me of when I first heard these classics and the effect they had on me.
