Home for the weekend and we went out to the forest to get our Xmas tree. On our way, we passed a field with cattle and my youngest Ginger puts this one on:



I used to play this amongst many other silly favourites for them when they were little and figured they’d forgotten about it. They sang it line for line. So proud lol.

Once again, my playlist gets more additions from the great suggestions here.

To change things up, we were connecting with our Ginger Daughter in Edmonton last weekend and were informed that our 3 year old Granddaughter was having trouble getting to sleep. I suggested this one among others to try and it turns out she’s asking for this one every night now.




Thank you CBC for introducing me to this woman’s work many years ago.

On another CBC related note, I have fond memories of going to get winter wood with my Dad and hearing this one come on the radio:


He was a proud flatlander from Saskatchewan, but he’d always crank up Stan Rogers.
