My goodness, what are you so angry about?
Which part of that post gives the impression that I’m angry? Just curious if you can point to anything in specific, or if this is just some little quip that sounded good in your head. “My goodness” lmao sure buddy.

That’s wrong. Most Devils fans in this thread said last year that Nemec was by far their best D and how he was already playing like a #1 D (hint hint at those who’s saying the same about Kovacevic right now).

Nemec should not be traded. It’s way too hard to find a consistant top 4 RHD that you NEED to keep them when you have one on your team/pipeline.

Hamilton is already showing signs of slowing down. Pesce is almost 30 and also already showed signs of slowing down in Carolina. Kovacevic is nothing more than a good #6 who had a good start. Don’t fool yourself into thinking your right side is covered for a decade because things move fast in this league. By the time Nemec hit his stride and play a mature game both Pesce and Hamilton will likely already be washed up and shell of themselves and you’ll be happy you held on Nemec and Casey

Yes, Nemec exceeded expectations last season, but very few Devils fans were penciling him in at the top of the RD depth chart ahead of Hamilton and Pesce.

Hamilton finished 6th in Norris voting two seasons ago when he was healthy is still just 31 and leads the team in ATOI. As you mentioned, Pesce isn't even 30 yet. A 20 year old Nemec with less than a full NHL season under his belt wasn't getting top minutes.

I would be surprised if Nemec gets traded and more calling out that any deal the Devils make would be unlikely to return futures as part of the package.

nemec is a stud going through adversity. if the devils were going to trade him they should target slaf for his size. no one is touching mallioux. especially with the wjc trial not even started yet.

This have nothing to do with Mailloux and doesn't affect his value at all.

You’re 14 games in. We’ve watched the guy for two full year. He’s a steady #6. If that guy is anywhere near your top 4 you’ll have a hard time making the playoff. That’s a fact.

The same Kovacevic that was in and out of Habs line-up for two years? A top shutdown defenseman? Lmao.

You had very little credibility to start with. Now you’re at 0.
Have you ever considered that a the team who has drafted in the top-5 for three consecutive years might not know how to use their players?

I’m sure you have backed up data and proof that a management team that came in 3 years ago doesn’t know how to use their players because they are rebuilding.

What about Winnipeg then? Do they know how to use their players? Why did they waive the guy?

Fun fact: Jonathan Kovacevic is the only MTL dman in kent hughes tenure to outscore the opponent 5v5.

What was the sentence given?
Your desire to defend this action simply based on the fact he was only given a fine says a whole lot more about you than it does anyone else.
You keep parroting the same line, expecting that to make what he did not be terrible. He was convicted of distributing sexual pictures without consent, this is absolutely a big deal, in fact it was a big enough deal for him that he tried to remove himself from the draft and put him on quite a few teams DND list.

MTL : Logan Mailloux/CGY first + Micheal Hage
for
NJ : Simon Nemec, Not sure about his value atm.

Nemec seems to have a hard time making the team atm.
Nemec would sure make the team in MTL right now with is buddy Slaf.
Micheal Hage is a great piece here and Mailloux has good potential as well.
CGY first should be a mid first pick.
No thanks.

Gibby since your the stats guy, How often does a player claimed on waivers turn into a good player?
I don't have the numbers on that. Unfortunately a lot of the new sites for transactions don't compare to capfriendly. Most places don't even have a way to filter any transactions, so you're stuck looking through pages and pages of 2 way AHL scrub signings, call ups trying to find relevant players and moves.
