I get that he's got a pretty substantial cap hit, but only two years remaining. I'm surprised some of the other rebuilding teams didn't step up. He's only 26, and was still a point per game, 30 goal pace player the year before last, on a pretty thin roster.

I don't know that it is fair for us to assume going to a bigger market is a negative. Perhaps it will allow him to fully engage in the hockey and be less distracted by other things. Could really invigorate him.
