So we should trade him for a mid-late 1st and spare parts mostly at positions of depth?

No, no, just reasons why it wouldn't be good for the Habs. Like many have said why would CAR trade for futures when they're trying to contend? and why would MTL try to get a final piece when we're still rebuilding? Just another ill-thought out Slafy proposal.

and caufield has none. time to put him on waivers.

Waivers? the F you on about? Nobody's telling CAR to stick Svech on waivers. Just another harebrained Slafy proposal is all. You on the other hand show up as always to crap on any Habs thread on the Main Boards. Why would anyone read your venom filled posts on MTL threads?

Juste la pour cracher ton fiel.

As good as Svech is, Habs need a top dman more, and Reinbacher may ( or may not) be that guy. So no.

Ummm this is a slam dunk yes for Montreal. Unless Svechnikov has some serious issues with Carolina and needs out now, there's no way this gets it done.

On the injury prone front:

82/82 games in 18-19.
62/62 games in 19-20.
55/56 games in 20-21.
78/82 games in 21-22.

64/82 games in 22-23 until he tore his ACL.
59/82 games this year, where he was coming back from a post-trade deadline ACL tear.

Yes, he had some other minor injuries this year. 2023 was the first time Svechnikov missed significant time in the regular season. Give him a full off-season to rehab fully and he'll be just fine.
