holy crap bergevin is the dumbest GM in the league

I can see Weber aiming for his head with a slapper in practice

I won't repeat the whole hypocrisy thing I stated earlier, as pretty much every post is stating the obvious now. Big money for a one-year prove-me (thrice) contract. My prayers are that Markov + Emelin + Sergachev + Radulov nets Shipachev in December with that last $4MM in cap. Go Montreal Ruskadiens?

Far and away the most skilled player signed today at a very reasonable contract. The Habs are a much better team with Radulov on their top line. I know a lot of you will find this hard to admit though.

MB outdoing his Semin signing makes for great comedy. That is a very risky signing.

Signing Radulov in his prime to one year is risky? On a day when teams are handing out 5, 6, 7-year deals to guys in their 30s?

People are over-blowing the locker-room cancer thing because of the bewildering Subban trade.

Radulov is such a greedy little weasel.....

Don't worry he will be back in the KHL by December when a KHL team offers him more money.....

The concept of a contract goes right over Radulov's greedy weasel head.

If I was a GM I wouldn't sign him if he came to me offering to play for 500k....

They get rid of one locking room cancer and bring another one in.

Never a dull moment in Montreal.

This is going to be one of the best seasons for us. I can't wait to see all the off-ice material we will get. No win/loss ratio will make this season dull.

Bergevin went out and got the best UFA of the day. Still don't like him though.

That's impossible unless Montreal releases him. There's an agreement between two leagues

TSN said Weber was consulted beforehand

You guys don't know Weber very well. I imagine Shea wasn't going to go primma donna on his new team and say "no don't sign him" but I have zero doubt that Shea isn't a fan of radulov. Shea is professional enough to keep his mouth shut and give the guy another chance, and if Rads toes the line, all will be fine.

maybe a leopard can change his spots, but I'll have to see it to believe it.

This, if Therrien doen't F with him too much 40 goals is a reasonable expectation. Value signing of the day IMO

I'm eager to see him back in the league.

He's definitely a guy that can ramp up the entertainment factor of the game.
