Lol, I think this is a good signing for Montreal but its hilarious following the Subban trade. A locker room problem who thinks he is bigger than the team? Radulov far exceeds Subban in all the rumored issues Montreal had with him.

well hes an excellent player, he outproduced Datsyuk badly during the lockout year (they played on the same team) and Datsyuk was still a PPG NHL'er back then.

only issue with him is whether or not he'll be a detriment in the locker room, with Weber and Markov there i doubt theres gonna be any problems tho.

How so? Subban was supposedly a problem now. Radulov's issues were 4-5 years ago. It doesn't exceed.

forget subban being traded for character issues
forget radulovs character issues and past

How is this a bad deal?
There was noone else left on the market except boedker, who seems took less money to go to the sharks so he was no coming here

This is a ONE YEAR deal...so either you dont sing anyone and wait till next year, or you sign someone who might help and if he doesnt, you're back to where youd be if you had no signed him. with 5.75 in cap space and a roster spot on july 1st 2017

Sure man, LOL.

Radulov is a constant problem unlike some guy that uses flashy clothes.

MB said he did his homework on Radulov, he spoke to Weber and Fedorov in regards to his "character" and they told him he's a good guy, 4 years ago his issues were due to a lack of maturity, it wasnt a character issue. Fedorov said hes a leader for them and he's the captain of their team so..

Not sure what the Montreal Canadiens are trying to do. It's almost as if management is going out of their way to destroy this team. What a shame, Habs had a good thing going until Carey Price's injury. Oh well, at least Hab fans can look fondly on their team's 24 Stanley Cups.

So, is this just a stepping stone for him to get back into the NHL? I wonder why he decided on Montreal. He's basically walking in as their best forward, right?

I truly believe playing in Montreal, in the Province of Quebec was something interesting for him because of his junior years around here in Quebec city. The fans loved him so much there at that time.

I see Price's career heading in the same direction as Lundqvist's. Consistently putting the team on his back and never having enough support to accomplish anything significant.

Surprised to see all the positive responses from this signing. I understand that Alex Radulov is the Wayne Gretzky of the KHL, but he was a disaster on the Predators. Maybe he's grown, good luck Hab fans, maybe he could erase some doubts.

I think he's the best player on their team right now save Price. AND they got him for free. Home run.

I attended 3 Montreal Canadian games and the atmosphere in those games were amazing, like nothing I've ever seen before. I think they deserve a lot better than Marc Bergevin as GM and Rudalov as a player. If PK Subban can't get along with Therrien how is Rudalov? Hopefully it works out for both fans and Canadians.

Expect a playmaker. He can score goals, but in recent years he has become a pass-first player. In his first few years as a professional player, he tallied nearly as many goals as assists, but the numbers as well as his play reflect changes to his style of play even prior to his last stint with the Predators in 2012.

1 periode.

That's what it will take.

For all the Habs fans ( me included ) to get down on our knees and start praying.

Please, oh lord, don't mess this up.

Electrifying, he will be.

Habs haven't had this type of talent since PK Subban. :)

very skilled player but he has very bad attitude for the game. I haven't seen anything that says he has matured along the way. at best Montreal got great offensive power worst very big problems. maybe you got both in the same package. godspeed MTL

This move is only positive for les CH. I bleed green in Montreal, but this signing excites me the most. I'll for sure be watching a lot more Canadien games now because of Radulov. He was easily the most skilled player available today and the Habs did well. They have always lacked star power upfront, and Radulov could be the answers to their scoring problems.

Wonder why Radulov chose the Habs especially for a one year deal

Yeah it'd be interesting to know. If the Canadians aren't very good again I'm sure he will be an easy target.

Great signing though, can't wait to see him play.
