Lol, I think this is a good signing for Montreal but its hilarious following the Subban trade. A locker room problem who thinks he is bigger than the team? Radulov far exceeds Subban in all the rumored issues Montreal had with him.

I'm still trying to find where Bergevin said it was a locker room problem...

It seems its the media that asks about it and brings it up...

People seems to get that Bergevin has no problem trying to bring in problem players.

Its like they seem to forget that he trade a locker room leader in Prust for a guy he knew had a substance problem in Kassian and gave him a 2nd chance...

I love that there will be tears no matter whether he blows it or not. But I am definitely rooting for this to be a success because the tears of all the haters will taste best of all. It truly is amazing, the level of hate this guy brings when there are NHL players that make him look like an angel.

I just can't comprehend this at all.

You trade the best D-man in the league, a proven playoff warrior, a fan favorite and a charitable big hearted person because he had "character issues"... yes PK is a little arrogant but what is wrong with that? The problem was Bergevin and Therrien are even more arrogant... The two combined are almost as arrogant as Trump.

And now they sign Radulov? the same Radulov that struck his coach with his stick and is known to be arrogant, egotistical and selfish? It doesn't matter how good he is, there is so much risk in bringing in a person, not player, the player part doesn't matter, with Radulov's persona...

Therrien better handle him VERY carefully or something BIG is going to erupt in Montreal.

It'll be nice when this guy scores 60 points next season and shuts everyone up.

Why would that shut anyone up? He's getting paid like he puts up 60+ points so he better match that.. Most people are just up in arms regarding why they'd trade Subban for supposedly having attitude/personality issues, and then a few days later sign Radulov. His attitude issues have been well documented.

Please provide prof of any of this...

I mean you can argue that if Mtl wanted to trade Subban because of that reason, 2 years ago might have been the time to do it...

His bridge deal was up, going to get a big contact, all the media was saying they would trade him, supposedly the contact was signed by Molson and not Bergevin etc.

why trade Subban?

is it because Bergevin and Therrien think Weber is the better player? if that's the case then they're both morons.

imo they both confirmed that by bringing in a person like Radulov.

I think he's the best player on their team right now save Price. AND they got him for free. Home run.

I won't write him off, plenty of players have proven me wrong in the past & plenty will prove me wrong in the future. I just question his focus. Last time he was in the NHL, he would go drinking till 2am the night before a playoff game & even dragged a teammate to go out with him.

Then again, Mike Richards & Jeff Carter had the same issues with the Flyers & they went on to win a couple Cups with the Kings.

Find me someone who says he isn't incredibly talented. Either you are setting up a lovely strawman or your reading comprehension is awful.

Most people are questioning everything other than his talent.

You have got to be kidding accident lol, denial is also a river, watch the video below, this time open your eyes

I'm no fan of Radulov or the Habs, but it sure looks to me like he meant to hit the glass behind the bench out of frustration. Not that I condone that kind of behaviour or anything, but I don't think he was trying to hit his coach at all.

Yeah it'd be interesting to know. If the Canadians aren't very good again I'm sure he will be an easy target.

Great signing though, can't wait to see him play.

Because he likes Montreal and he has history there.

He's talented enough to not look behind him and know where players or coaches are lmao. But in all seriousness all that will matter is if he has a good year or not.

Bad year everyone will keep hating him.

good year anyone that likes montreal and good players will like him. While Jealous fans and nashville fans will keep hating him either way.

Jeez, do people not realize the habs have a whole lot less invested in Radulov than they had in Subban. If there's a character issue you let Radulov walk in a year and lose 6 mil. If there's an issue with Subban you have him for 6 years at 9mil.

At the end of the day Radulov, Weber, Shaw, healthy Price, Montoya >>>>> Subban, Eller

The Habs are now a better team. Suck it hfboards

Actually he is getting paid like a 30-40 point guy no? Helm and Nielsen got similar money ..
And the reasons that were given for subban having an attitude problem is where? Do we have any direct quotes that this was the reason?

Radulov had four great seasons in the khl no reason to doubt he won't put up
Numbers in the NHL especially having put up 102pts
In 150 games before the age of 22
