Another person who doesn't play hockey commenting.

Imagine thinking it matters, and then trying to insult others who don't care about what type of shot others use.

You: "it matters what shots they use!!! You must not play hockey if you don't care about shot choices! You have to get angry like me or else you don't play hockey!grrrr!"

Lol yeah ok.

It's hard responding to someone who keeps moving goalposts, I'm not sure when you're lying or when you're speaking the truth

Never moved the goalposts once.

I said no one came after Rielly. You thought a couple hugs meant they came after Rielly. He didn't even get a facewash.

The number of Sens fans defending a the slapshot on TV who they think hurt anyone's feelings is even more impressive.
The fact that someone who types like this can opperate a computer is even more impressive.

Wow, I said something slightly mean that could have insulted someone. I guess I deserve to get cross-checked in the head for that.

I watch hockey for entertainment purposes and it was certainly fun to watch Rielly get all rielled up in a losing cause.

Yeah and Leafs fans and Sheldon Keefe enjoyed his reaction more than doing nothing.

Entertaining all around.

I'm truly baffled that there are so many hockey fans here so completely fragile that they think scoring an empty netter warrants any kind of physical response at all. Had Grieg held his stick at crotch level and hipthrust the puck into the net it still shouldn't create this response. Don't like a team scoring an empty netter on you? Don't be down late in the game and give up possession.

Truly infantile...

A cherry on top of a pleasant evening.
Of course, I'm sure for fans in the building it was a fun end to the game.

Let's be real though, the usual narrative here is that the Leafs are soft and don't defend themselves, and then when they do (I agree this was an overreaction), they still get chirped around here.

Just helping you out, not everyone subscribes to the definition you make up in your own head

It wasn't the teams post game interview. It was on HNIC immediately after the game before they went to the locker rooms.

Maybe they didn't show it in the Sens broadcast? Go watch Giroux defend Rielly more than his own teammate.
Are you crazy?

He said nothing of the sort even though the lame biased CBC tried to get him to call out his teammate.

Could you imagine Stutzle's reaction if it was him getting that cross check. He'd still be rolling.
The only place he'll be rolling tonight is on a box-spring bed from most beautiful female Leaf fan to second most beautiful female Leaf fan.

Defend what exactly?

Who was hurt? Their feelings? Their pride?

This isn’t protecting anyone other than their poor egos.

The number of Leafs fans defending a crosscheck to the face because the slapshot on TV hurt their feelings is impressive.
I get it. They will never win no matter what they do. If he did nothing then everyone would be saying the leafs are soft and let people bully them.

Our feelings hurt? lol way to exaggerate. I agree it’s dirty but any team will respond to that in some way.
