I think I would need receipts because outside of it coming up on SportsCenter, I haven't once heard a Leaf fan talk about it or be mad about it in god knows how many years since it happened lol. There’s been multiple NHL players mentioned in this thread. You decided to pick on one.

I think a guy who played hockey his whole life, got drafted, and actually played in the NHL knows the game and culture better than you.

Oh, I misread it as being a currently held 'vendetta' Leafs fans hold against Alfie for it.

My response had nothing to even do with Rielly’s cross check I know it was dirty, my point was the greig deserved some sort of response not saying the current one was the appropriate one

Guaranteed if there were legitimate quotes asked of the players they would all say it should have been differently, but the response in theory was justified. Certainly appears you are defending it. Perhaps the tune will change with a 6 game suspension for a team with no other defense to speak of.
