Montreal Canadiens players carrying Bruins Woody Dumart off the ice as he prepares to go to war. Probably seen this photo a hundred times but it's awesome.
That could very well be Gary Kurt. He played for the Cleveland Barons of the AHL for 2 seasons (1969-70 & 1970-71). His final pro season was 1976-77 with the Phoenix Roadrunners of the WHA.
Help!
I'm trying to definitively identify the Cleveland (most likely - could possibly be Jacksonville) goaltender in the photo at the start of this Twitter thread.
Thanks! It's definitely not Kurt, who caught right.
The ceremonial first faceoff in the inaugural home game in Buffalo Sabres history, 10-15-1970
Taking the faceoff are Floyd Smith (who would later coach the Sabres in their 1975 Stanley Cup Final season) and Jean Beliveau (in his final season as a player)

1970/71 - Gordie Howe appears surprised as he looks at Frank Mahovlich following a goal by the Canadiens.
Guys if it's cool to ask/request this pic if it exists, would there be a pic of Howe and Richard mid-handshake after one of their playoff series? That would be an awesome one to see!
Not the greatest quality unfortunately, and probably not the one you're looking for.
...and here's a pretty good one with the two involved.
April 1, 1958 – The snub - Maurice Richard and Johnny Wilson - with Gordie Howe looking on
1951 – Goalie all alone
Les Binkley is handling the puck
Thanks for this, an amazing photo!! The goaltender has a skirt over her goalie-pads....

Does that model of goal stick look familiar to anyone? Heard at one point there was a surplus of them going around!!!
