We should keep our phone charged because we’ll eventually get a call from MSL to play with CC and Suz.

I think MSL just feels better with Monahan at center when the team is on the road.

How is Pitlick a center over Dvorak and Monahan?
Dvorak and Monahan will be two of our best trade chips. I want them accumulating points on the top two lines, not playing on the 4th line, or even the 3rd line where they haven't been accumulating many points...

Apparently lines have been changed from what was posted in OP. Slaf on 4th & Dach on 1st.

Nice. I think Dach and Caufield will have good chemistry because they think the game similarly offensively speaking.

Good to see Monahan back at C where he belongs.

And Armia will help Slaf a lot the next few games before he heads back to Finland, where he belongs.

wow!

I like Dach on the 1st line, and Slaf seems to play well with Evans.

But I'd rather Monahan in a place to produce. Hopefully we get a lot of PP's!

How does Monahan belong at C?

What are your guys thoughts on the Blues?

Probably no one knows anything, so here goes:

1st line is
Buchnevich Thomas Tarasenko
Unstoppable
2nd line
Schenn O'Reilly Kyrou
Should be better
Neighbours Brown Anas
That was last years line lol
Toropchenko Acciari Walker
Energy 4th line

General thought from afar is a balanced squad that plays heavy. Not quite an elite cup contender but in the next tier.

Their makeup is an awful matchup for montreal.

No, Slaf does not belong in Finland.

That's just an awful take

Dvorak is going nowhere, he's signed for 2 more years.

If they trade him it's going to be during the summer not at the TDL.

And Monahan will probably get more value if he can show he can still play center effectively.

Teams in contention often look for depth centers at the TDL.

Petry was not hated. His last season in Montreal is not his Habs legacy. He was great for several seasons.

He was pretty much hated last year, especially after the Kassian - Montembeault fiasco, but prior to that, he definitely was not hated.
