Nope he'll get thrown in to some deal or simply get cut loose. No use keeping a player in a role he's not suited for. The idea is to get better every year. With some cap manoeuvrability and better players already knocking on the door I don't see it.

I get the distinct impression that he just doesn't care. Even watching the player blurbs when they are messing around he comes across as distant.

I think that's just the way he is, it's his personality. Not the most jovial and extroverted dude.
But it can give the impression that he doesn't care.

The culture (including food) isn't the same as in Paris and France, but the food in Montreal is better than in the States.
As in, go to a few random restaurants in Montreal versus New York, the probabilities are great the Montreal restaurants will be better on average.
It will be interesting to see if they can find any chemistry. We know the talent is there. If there is a forward on this team who can get Suzuki the puck at the opportune moment it would be him. Not sure about the grit factor though.

A lot of people have said that he'd perhaps make a good winger and there's a good case for it. I'm just surprised to see the org try it that soon is all. I mean, playing with Caufield and Suzuki is definitely a good way to try him on wing. Also gives two passers to feed Caufield and Suzuki is also a decent scorer. Could work.

Hopefully next game, Pitlick is in for Hoffman, and one of Dvorak or Evans play with Caufield and Suzuki.

I think MSL just feels better with Monahan at center when the team is on the road.
