Rimando has always been great at saving PKs, but that was a horrible attempt by APG. I'm happy though because I think RSL got CONCACAF'd on the actual call.

He missed so many easy opportunities, that pk was dreadful. Horrible performance. RSL still lost. I blame the fitness level of the players, it's their first competitive game in months, they always get scored on after the 70th

Can't wait to see what how will Ashley Cole play against the Mexicans. Apparently, he had a hell of a good pre-season.

On paper, that's quite the lineup.

Zardes as CF ? I was looking forward to see Magee-Keane up front or at least Lleget as LW and Zardes up front. I know that Boateng kid has got some speed.

Gio playing against a Mexican club :handclap:

De Jong, Cole, Gerrard and Keane. To be clear, im speculating here, and only basing myself on age. They could be in fantastic shape for all i know.

I see but the only I might agree with is Gerrard and possibly Cole. De Jong and Cole are known for their endurance and Keane is a machine. Pretty impressive for a 35 yo striker to still look a 27 yo on the field. I don't see him retiring any time soon too. As for Ashley Cole, I really don't know what to expect. They will use him strategically that's for sure. Rogers will be Cole's backup at LB and Gargan will slide to the right. They got Larentowicz who can cover for Gerrard.

That's what we call an organized team.

Fair enough. Youre a lot more knowledgable when it comes to the MLS anyways.

Interesting, Vancouver subbed in in a couple of 15 year olds in their preseason game against Portland.

Both teams had lots of bench players on the field, but at one point Vancouver had two 15 year olds, a 17 year old and two 19 year olds.

The caps have a history of developing youth and never giving them first team minutes. I'll be paying attention to see if that changes.

So the two MLS teams who played away didn't manage to score a single goal (both lost 2-0) and the two who played at home got away with a tie

doesn't look good

I think LA will go through on away goals. Seattle will need a win at Azteca and I say it's not happening.

To be honest all 4 teams still have a chance. Both teams who lost 2-0, lost away from home. Those 2 Mexicans teams are far from being unbeatable. But I do agree with you, Seattle most likely won't win at Azteca, the difference maker could have been Martins tho. Despite being 2 goals down DC have a better chance than Seattle (Queretaro are terrible this season so far) Seattle won't lose because of their 'fans' mostly because how good Club America will be. They are used to hostile crowds anyway
