I think he was just as good last season anyway... Remember that crazy Ottawa win? Gave up a bunch of goals but was just insane. There were so many games last year where he had to stand on his head. This year he's been a wall but at least he doesn't have Cube/Murray in front of him. We're not good but we're better than last year.

it's just that he's done it all year. he's had what? 5 bad games this year?

Just noticed the boxscore. Another primary assist on Max Pacioretty from Lars Eller. This is hilarious. :handclap:

Is there a source ? Are you just talking outta your chapeau ?

Subban is always hitting every party in town yet, no one mentions it.
Subban is known as a fitness freak and extremely professional - he plays 25+min a night on the reg and he's already reached the pinnacle of the game. Chucky? Not really.

You guys need to concentrate on DD less. :) It makes watching Habs games a little better.

Well, the last play at least, was a major event on the PP.

Not to mention that players in his role get a lot of attention since they are playing an important role.

How many bad games did he have last year? Not many. Even in games where he gave up goals he was insanely good. The Ottawa game was a great example.

He's been in God mode for a long time now.

Meanwhile, Galchenyuk is 200 pounds and looks like this.

I'm pretty sure Subban is far from a party animal.

Price, Subban, Komisarek, Gomez, Higgins, Seguin, Marchand, Carter, Richards are all quite enigmatic russians.
The :sarcasm: implied the joke, because I knew it'd be a bit too dry for HF otherwise.

I don't care if a player is russian or not - but until further notice - Galchenyuk is Afinogenov.

Once again at the end of a period, this time on the PP...Isles get a break the other way on the PP...a certain someone never makes it past the opponent's blueline..puck comes back the other way..instead of going off as he was beside the bench and he'd been on for well over a minute, tries to get "rewarded" for basket hanging with a garbage assist at the end of the period by passing to to Patch..who had skated all the way down the ice to try to break up the rush..then skated all the way back for the chance. If he had scored both DD and Patch would both end up with the same amount of points on the scoresheet. A far too typical point for him.

That's not going to salvage his poor season. He need to be strong in the playoff for that to happen, that's the only way.

You've been quite defensive of this kid. I'm still waiting on this "source" that Chucky's been going out a bit too much but honestly, not impressed with his career so far. Way too much hype, way wayyyy too much.

The next sequel should be when he makes a GOOD play for once.

Afinogenov was fancier. They're nothing alike.
