Not sure he’s the one missing the point lolMissing the point. Yea he won cups but his stats in those finals aren’t anything special and 2/3 are shit.

If we are talking about just the 2008 final.Yeah I was actually tempted to include Datsyuk in that comparison as well because he did also have 3 finals appearances, but it felt super disingenuous to include him with his 2002 stat line as a bottom-6 forward. It just wasn't an apples to apples comparison so I thought it was unfair to include him.
But even taking that out, Zetterberg was downright dominant in both 2008 and 2009 and I don't think Datsyuk even matched that when healthy in 2008.
You're not wrong then. Toews was the best forward in 2010 and the best Canadian forward across the 2010 and 2014 victories.Yes, sorry Toews. Corrected.
This is true, as well as without some of those role players they had over the years they wouldn't have won all of them either.

It’s his alt account.Even Midnight has never made a thread like this before
Cool story, Oxford.You do know what the definition of clutch is, yes?
Here, this is from Oxford;
(in sport) denoting or occurring in a critical situation in which the outcome of a game or competition is at stake.
Helps, hope it does.
Don't disrespect DSP's 2018 run, unironically one of the most "clutch" ones out there and certainly more clutch than any of Crosby'sGiven his goals per minute in the Caps 2018 SCF Devonte Smith-Pelly was a far more clutch SCF performer than that mediocre Crosby character. I like judging clutch performances on two stat categories, btw.
No disrespect at all. DSP had me jumping out of my chair a lot. I was a fan of his before his SCF heroics.Don't disrespect DSP's 2018 run, unironically one of the most "clutch" ones out there and certainly more clutch than any of Crosby's
GMs are some of the dumbest people I n the planet though. They would be the first to parrot cliches more than anyoneIf you'd create a poll among all gms of all time asking who they would like on their team in a scf game, im pretty sure Crsoby would be top 10 at the very least.
Good thing we can look up how well McDavid scored in the 2017 playoffs. Oh wait, he had 2 5v5 points in 13 games and was outscored by Mark Letestu on his own team.You don't actually think he means that the NHL in 09, 16, and 17 were equivalent to the DPE, right?
Because I suspect that McDavid would have been able to score in the NHL in 2016 and 2017 as well. Given how he won the scoring title in 2017 and whatnot. And the scoring wasn't low in 09.
Is this also an attempt to show that 2017 was like the DPE? Or can I safely ignore it as just another silly attempt to make it look like McDavid isn't a good playoff performer?Good thing we can look up how well McDavid scored in the 2017 playoffs. Yes we can!Good thing we can look up how well McDavid scored
Yeah, but don't you remember in Crosby's prime when players were allowed to tackle other players 30 feet away from the puck, and to headshot people with impunity?
