Pacioretty had a broken foot to start the season and people were so ready to trade him. I too was on board with trading him then. However, looking back you can't think of making the same mistake twice.

I don't think there's a conspiracy. The guy is clearly in a slump and has little confidence in his game at the moment, but all these coaching decisions has only resulted in his play further deteriorating instead of improving, so I don't understand the doubling-down.
