Without deviation progress is not possible
The difference I have noticed between Drouin and Galchenyuk is that Alex does not constantly keep his feet moving.
There's never been a doubt that his skating can be improved.

If:
Drouin becomes a #1 C
and
Mete turns out to be a better player than Sergachev
Does MB get some breathing room?
What? I'll take Benn+3rd over Beaulieu any day of the week.
He looks committed in every way, hope he keeps this going.I'm completely sold on Drouin as a center at this point. He looks great even defensively. He'll need some time to adjust still but hes more than capable of it though
Even if/when Patches scores 40+ goals, his value on HFBoards will still be a 2nd round pick, because lIf Patches doesn’t score 40+ goals, I’ll be surprised. Drouin the talented centre he’s been waiting for his whole career. I expect good things from these guys. Now if only the other players can find their groove, we’ll be set.
Bergevin said before the game in an interview with Pierre Houde that 50 of Mete's family and friends came down from Toronto to Buffalo for the kid's 1st game.

TSN with a pretty scathing overlook on the Habs roster during that intermission.
That was a sweet one timer. His one time has been his weakest shot by far IMO. There's a reason people say he shouldn't play the half wall on the power play
Also worth noting, $10.5m goaltender has a .909 SV% lol.

In 1 year, he'll be older and more $$$$$$$$...Wrong. He is currently a 6.5M goaltender with a .909 SV%

Except that Beaulieu has completely looked out of place literally every time he was in a top 4 role. Turnover after turnover, can't play basic defensive hockey.
So if he was so bad in Montreal, why be mad at Bergevin for trading him while keeping a player who had looked better than him.
Based on what?Time will tell but Benn has no upside over what you see while Nate will get much better. No way Ben compares to Nate. Strategically asinine move to protect a 6 D in an expansion draft
