Subban won't talk about the negotiations but says that he realized the 2 year deal was the best for him and the organization and that he just wants to be integrated with the team, his heart was always in Montreal and he is just happy to help the team win.

The greatest thing about having PK back in the Habs lineup is having all the Leafs and Philly fans that wanted to offer sheet him pull a 360 and whine how much of a $%^& Subban is!

I love it. I hope PK blows us away with amazing play the next two years!

For those who are thinking Pk is not paid enough, just calcuate your own salary compared to his.

It will probabyly take you a lifetime or two to receive what is gonna get in a year and a half.

Get real.

I haven't seen any posts suggesting pro sports isn't a bloated industry. :dunno:

PK: "I'm happy that this was a good deal for the Montreal Canadiens."

And sounds like he generally means it. Only a fan of the Habs would say that. Love this guy

That's actually the exact opposite of reality, it's not easy to look good playing with Gill on a first pairing, and the fact that Subban held his own shows us just how special this kid is.

Held his own in doing what? Helping the team finish 15th? He's good, but remember how Tyler Myers and John Carlson were going to win Norris after Norris?

I think it's easy to look good when you're the top option on a team with no other options.

I'm glad he's signed, but this notion that he's just going to keep a steady incline in performance is misguided. He might, he might not.

Slept for 12 hours straight, wake up and it's as dark as it was when I went to bed. Open homepage:

"F YEAH!!!!!!!"

This is so awesome! Are there still people who think MB is an idiot or have they now seen that he knows what he's doing. I'm sure as soon as PK hits the ice, he won't be thinking money and we can just put this behind us.

Welcome back PK! (Does Bergevin know how to heal burst appendixes?)

Lucky man. I can only wish for 12 hours of sleep.
