if theres one thing ive learnt from bergevin

is he definitely spots the weak links on the team at the right times

im pretty sure the only reason gilbert is being played this much is for a showcase, eventually pateryn is getting this gig, its so obvious, wether its after we let gilbert walk in free agency or a possible trade

gilbert WILL get replaced by pateryn, one day.

If there is one thing I've learned about Bergevin, he values depth on defence. Having 7 defencemen for 6 spots is a luxury for him, not a problem.

The Canucks/Wild game is also on Sportsnet One and the Oilers/Canes game is on Sportsnet 360. I figure that's why te games aren't blacked out on Sportsnet West and Pacific since they're shown National on these other channels as well.

NHL's top two teams playing and it's not a national broadcasting is stupid

I like how Beaulieu has sneaked his way into the top-4. Emelin got injured and Pateryn was put into the lineup, Beaulieu went beside Petry and hasn't left. It was the opportunity he was waiting for and he hasn't wasted it!

No, the games aren't blacked out because they're all Wednesday Night hockey. Typically these would be all regional if it was another weekday.

Rogers also has national rights to HNIC and Sunday Night hockey.

It's a simplistic explanation I'm giving, but you can look it up.

I thought there would be only 1 national game on at a time but I guess not. I figured with the Canuck and Oiler games also being aired nationally on Sportsnet One and 360 there really was no point in blacking them out on the regional Sportsnet channels.

Anyway I'll take it.

This isn't the first time Wed Night hockey is split between SN and SN1/SN360. It's just the first time I can recall that they moved SN1/SN360 games over to the main channels.

EDIT: And you're right. Typically WNH has two games one around 7pm and another one later.
