I will predict the easy and obvious outcome for this TDL that was true of every past TDL and is a guaranteed outcome from all future TDLs…
Leafs are in on everyone
Coyotes are a buyer

Giroux – Colorado

Lindholm – NY Rangers

Chychrun – St. Louis

Rakell – Pittsburgh

Giordano – Edmonton

Debrusk – San Jose or Columbus

Middleton – Boston

Braun – Tampa Bay

C. Miller – Toronto

Fleury – Toronto

Hagel – Carolina

Domi – Boston

Copp – Winnipeg

Klingberg – Dallas

Leddy – Minnesota

Kessel – Los Angeles

Chara – NY Rangers

I think all of the Vancouver guys stay for a playoff push and the team makes their moves in the offseason
I can't see Chara being moved to NYR and I can't see them bringing in 2 D-men with expectation of sitting Chara unless needed due to an injury.

Is lindholm even on rangers radar… I think lindholm ends up in Boston/st Louis or resigned in Anaheim
He might be, but I think cheaper options exist to fill in a 3rd LD for the team. Rangers couldn't pay a premium price for Chiarot and then stick him on a bottom pairing D. Unless Miller and Lindgren are dropping down the line-up for an elite D, I think it would make more sense to go with a cheaper option for that bottom role.

I got 2 I’ll guess on.

Chychrun to LA
Lindholm to Boston

I think Boston will be in the mix this deadline. They are being way to quiet this deadline and the east is getting better right under their nose

The Oilers probably add a goalie and a defenseman. Both won't be high profile.

Holland probably wants to keep the 1st round pick.

I don't think the Canucks will do anything major.
Halak-Mid to late round pick
Motte- 2nd round pick or similar level prospect
Maybe Hamonic or Poolman go, but all of the key parts stay for the playoff push and maybe get re looked at this summer.

On the Bruins board it is rumored they put in an offer on both guys, I see them getting one of them if things work out.

Thanks for the update Mike. Been reading Twitter with of course b.s, but if you scroll through the b.s people are saying Boston can meet the demands of what GM Verbeek is looking for on Lindholm

I think Lindhom is better for them and it would cost less. The price for Chychryn is pretty high. Not sure they want to part with Lohrei after his excellent 1st year in college, or for that matter Lysell.

My prediction is that Caps and Flyers will make a deal. Caps' Assistant General Manager for Player Personnel was scouting the Flyers heavily, Flyers were scouting the Hershey Bears heavily.

Hope it's for Giroux, but more likely Jones Braun or Brassard.

Well the demands of Anaheim are a first, A prospect, and a filler. If that gets you Chychrun go for it. But that’s apparently what the asking price is for Anaheim being reported. I think First + Lysell + 23’ second gets the job done, and both teams go on their marry way

Very good point posted here. With all this activity going on in the east with teams getting better. There hasn’t been any action talk at all with the Caps. Are the Capitals really going to let their captain Ovechkin clinching 3rd most goals scored in the history of NHL with no moves going into the playoffs? I don’t think they will. That east is beast

Just curious but what’s your reasoning behind Middleton to MIN?

Bertuzzi is going to be a no go for a lot of teams. Right off the bat you know this guy can’t play a game in Canada. That is an issue.

Well then you just need to trade him to Canada and never let him cross the border into the US again.

But also, we're easing up on our restrictions slowly...
