As a Lindholm fan, the issue is the price in my opinion : I don't see ANA trading him for a late 1st (+ scraps like in Chiarot trade) but would a team pay 1st + prospect good enough for ANA to consider ? I don't really see Neighbours/Bolduc or Lysell being available in the two teams you mentioned for example.

my prediction of Monday, just like the last 5-6 years, it's going to be a really long boring day with not much action except minor league deals and #6-7 d's being moved. I think everyone get's their big moves done by the weekend

The Islanders and Rangers just don’t make trades involving active NHL players. It hasn’t happened in who knows how long and with Lou being GM, it wont any time soon. This isn’t Toronto and Montreal/Ottawa.
I think it depends. Chara would be the kind of player who could get traded between them. Definitely wouldn't happen with Clutterbuck, nor with Parise (bc Islanders history). But Chara? What's the big deal? If that's what Chara wanted. Heck, I'd do it just to stick it to 'em.

All depends what we can get in return. If a team is really desperate and ready to overpay like we saw it with Chiarot last night, you move him. If all you can get is like a 2nd and mid level prospect I hope he stays. That's what I would do

At that price ya I agree might as well keep him. Maybe him being an RFA instead of UFA makes it a bit more valuable, I guess we will soon find out
Yeah it's not like he is hurting us. I am not even sure he is on the market, to be honest. He embodies values that every team wants their players to have, has a salary that doesnt hurt, accepts and plays his role in D missions and is still young enough to fit in the medium-term for the habs. I dont see a point in getting picks for him either as these are unknown values. Unless we get a prospect (not a pick) that we can reasonably assume will be better than Lek, i dont see this happening.

I doubt it. We can't afford to re-sign him and he'll cost too much to make it worthwhile as a pure rental.
