I'd actually be ok with this. KK would fill a long-term need at 3C.In a shocking move the Habs trade Monahan and Allen to the Canes for…

No from Winnipeg. Monahan isn't better than anything the Jets already have.Mtl : Monahan (50%)
for
Wpg : Mtl 2nd (around #38 - #45) + 6th rd
or
Mtl : Monahan (50%) + 3rd (70-75)
For
Late first (around #25 - #32)
I think it's the type of player that Wpg would need in the playoff depth wise for a small price. No from Winnipeg. Monahan isn't better than anything the Jets already have.
Nah, extra depth isn't worth giving up a high 2nd for and he just doesn't have a spot on Winnipeg.I think it's the type of player that Wpg would need in the playoff depth wise for a small price.
Let's say you end up with Lowry as your best center because of injuries.
And i see Monahan taking your 3rd C easy in a full squad.
And describes 90% of politicians lolthat's actually a fantastic quote.
I actually really disagree with that, he's not a physical player but not afraid to mix it up and good in front of the net. I'd think Vancouver's priority is still D thoughI doubt the Canucks are interested. Doesn’t seem like an RT-type.
RT wants forecheckers who can battle on the boards. I’ve never seen him as a forechecker.I actually really disagree with that, he's not a physical player but not afraid to mix it up and good in front of the net. I'd think Vancouver's priority is still D though
About LA firstWhat'll it take from LA? Kings can shift PLD to wing and play Monahan at C.
Byfield - Kopitar - Kempe
PLD - Monahan - Fiala
Moore - Danault - Arvidsson
Good top nine.
He's been most effective in Montreal along the boards and in front of the net imoRT wants forecheckers who can battle on the boards. I’ve never seen him as a forechecker.
That source is a regular poster trying to will it into existence.A poster claimed to have a source.
Sorry but your not dealing with the Flames management.Make a thread about Vancouver and leave Colorado out of it, we ain’t buying. Not for anything more then a 3rd…
Colorado wants a first just to take monohab
Dubois is much better than Monahan. He's not a good 5v5 center. What'll it take from LA? Kings can shift PLD to wing and play Monahan at C.

He's probably held a few talks, has a price in mind, and sooner or later more calls will come in, meeting that price and leading to a deal, or otherwise he might end up taking whichever offer is still available after a few other moves take place.I don't think Hughes is any kind of hurry. He has other players on the team that may need to go first such as Allen or Savard. The Habs have plenty of draft selections for this year and next year so they could be more interested in a young player who fits a specific role like they did with Dach and Newhook. They have plenty cap space and assets useful to any playoff team to add to Monahan in order to get that player. I wouldn't be surprised it could be someone already discussed and it's simply a question of when.
If he will go to Winnipeg? Most don't want to. Toronto could be good fit where Monahan from Brampton. Leafs lack depth and your third line generally key in playoffs.Mtl : Monahan (50%)

Kent Hughes is in no rush to make a trade. When he has an offer that will help his team he will move. As for Sean Monahan he could be traded but Kent Hughes says it is also possible that he signs an extension before March 8.

No from Winnipeg. Monahan isn't better than anything the Jets already have.
If it’s true that Montreal’s ask is a first, wouldn’t that mean he’s the least likely to be traded first since teams will most likely want to hold out for something better before paying that?
Monahan's 8 even strength points in over 18 minutes a night while being abysmal defensively, says otherwise. What? lol
Monahan is an upgrade on Kupari, Axel, Barron, Niederreiter and Toninato.
