This is a bad hockey team.
Urshela and Higashioka. LOL! These guys own family members could barely pick them out of a lineup.
Urshella - holy moly. What a find
BaebinOne guy that doesn't get mentioned much is Maybin. He's OPSing over .900.
Nats are better than Mets.
Its close I agree but I'd take the Mets over the Nationals overall and in a 7 game series. I'd take my chances that so long as the Mets bullpen didn't implode and keeps on performing as it has since the all star break, we'd have enough pitching to throttle the slight edge the Nationals have on offense over us.
This weekend will be a good barometer to see who is better and see if this role Mets are on has sustaining power. I'm thinking 2 of 3 would be stupendous and really needs to be the goal here for the team. If they can do that, I'm fully on board thinking this role they are on is sustainable going forward.
So other than the Nats, sounds like you agree Mets stack up quite nicely with everyone else other than LA and Atlanta going forward...eh?
Thats a very big ask.
Well since the all-star break pretty much everyone other than Diaz has been doing just fine. And that includes Familia as well. Listen, alot of things are happening now during this 19 of 25 run that didn't happen earlier in the season. And one of them is the bullpen isn't imploding like it did.
So it's not as big of an ask as it once was. And do note the Nationals pen has warts of it's own. I think we match up just fine vs them.
Speak of the devil, Maybin with the 50th homer the Yankees have hit against the Orioles this season.
Fifty. Five-zero. This season.
Christ above, I can't even take a piss with this team.51 now.

Chris Davis going ape**** instantly spawned 10,000,000 twitter jokes about how no one is afraid of him taking a swing or that the manager wouldn't get hit as long as he gave Davis a bat first.
I laughed at all of them.
