OT: MLB Thread XXIX: Marcus Stroman is a.....Met???

As I've said I dunno...couple of hundred times here, my Metsies are doing it again and pulling the ole teasearoo. Mets are just like the mafia to use an analogy...everytime you say you want to get out, they suck you back in. That's the friggen Mets as they do it all the time to us.

7 straight series wins....15-5 over their past 20, only one game under .500, the starting pitching has been en fuego, the bats solid as usual and even the pen doing the job for the most part. So here we sit 3 games out of the WC and tho we have our warts, so does our competition for the WC.

So yeah, why not think we have a legitimate shot at pulling this off when all is said and done...right? Ooopsie...I almost forgot...this is what the Mets do to us faithfuls. Here's what I'm looking for to make me really feel this just might be for real. Take 3 of 4 if not sweep the pathetic Marlins beginning tomorrow in the doubleheader so we head into the back to back huge series coming up vs Nats and Braves and I'll say f*** it...OK this just might be some magic going on and our hopes can really start to go up.

That said NO f*** up's...NO f***ing excuses vs Miami. You take 3 of 4 if not sweep and maybe just maybe we got something here.

Meantime LET'S GO f***ING METS!!!!

Somewhat of a chance that Sanchez and Torres might miss a full series against the O's

Gary Thorne must be relieved.

Tho Judge might heat up and he murders those orange burbs.

deGrom sets the tone today. Dominate the Marlins in G1 and allow to have the full bullpen available in G2 with Lockett pitching. He's could be good for 3 innings and then you'll need the pen, likely Gsellman for multiple innings after him.

Still have to hit this staff. No Caleb Smith these 4 days. He's their best. Has to be 3 of 4. I can see them losing G2 with Lockett going, but the bats need to show this afternoon.

Would luv a sweep of the DH today but don’t want to get too greedy. A DH sweep would certainly make the next two Marlin games a bit less stressful but like I said I don’t want to get too crazy here.

Just somehow...someway figure out a way to win 3 of these games is all we are talking about....not asking for a lot here vs worst team in the majors. Oh and No 2-2 split bullshit either...3 of 4 is minimum of what should be expected for this team that once again for the zillionth time is roping us all in. Just do it!!
