Yeah IDK why he had to go into it. I generally assume that players talk shit and resent the treatment from fans all the time, but it stays in the locker room. Any time a guy puts it out there in the open it always goes badly. Will they learn?

I'd be more sympathetic to Baez if the team was playing well and he was being singled out--like years back when Rangers fans would boo Rozsival when they'd call his name on assists, even when the team was pretty good. Like that's just unnecessary. But the whole team has been playing like horseshit, and everyone including the manager is bearing the brunt of it. Suck it the f*** up, dude.

Anyway hopefully Baez is gone. Lindor's contract may prove a big problem, don't need to add another one for a dipshit like him.

Somehow this Baez thing became the big story.

I like and respect Sandy but he has to go, his front office and coaching hires both last time and this time around have been unmitigated disasters. I'm sure Cohen is furious.

What a shitshow. This is rivaling the off ice soap opera that the Rangers were for the past 18 months.

Maybe this will open the door for a Theo Epstein. And let's be happy Bauer isn't a Met. We all knew that timebomb would go off although i didn't expect what happened.

oh gosh, idk about that. Rangers are still a bunch of kids while rebuilding. The Mets just bought some players and still have a ways to go.
 
Even on an off day the Mets are in the news for the wrong reasons.
