Damn, I gotta admit, Cashman making eat fkin crow (Gallo, Rizzo trades, Clay Holmes), taking a chance on Taillon, bringing back Cortes..
 
Why was Odor out there to play D in the 9th to begin with? Did I miss wade being unavailable? It's about the only situation where I'd want him in the game.

I don't know about that - they are hitting a combined .164 since joining the Yankees. They're good fielders though which won them a couple of games. I'd say the current resurgence has more to do with guys like Stanton Judge and Voit. Plus they have a running game now.

I would imagine they were acquired to do both. You also act as if they haven’t gotten some crucial hits along the way which have led to winning games.

The yankee success is what must be killing you. Probably more than the Mets going full Mets.

Gallo has 1 year of arb left. Rizzo is a UFA. Do you think the Yanks should try to resign them?

Mets Jets Knicks Rangers - 2 titles in 86 and 94 between them. I'm a yankee season ticket holder for 20 years and am definitely invested in their success so I have no idea what you're talking about.

Rizzo would entirely depend on what they decide to do at SS. I'd probably say no regardless as 1b is an easy enough position to fill for pretty cheap if you look hard enough.


And your post history here would say other wise. You come off like a met fan who cares more about the Yankees than you do about the Mets.

In terms of actual talent, he's far superior to Babe Ruth. In terms of talent versus the league (which is obviously a much better comparison), I'd argue he's still superior to Ruth since no one f***ing does this in modern baseball. Like, what he's doing is insane.
