Trying not to get bent out of shape. The reality is the Mets have a 4 game lead in the NL East, and stand to get a ton of talent off the IL soon.

Yeah, but if the bats don't warm up soon: that lead will dissappear real quick.

I guess my point is that they don’t need to be leading the East. They just need to be within striking distance when they become fully healthy.

For as bad as Luchessi or Peterson could be: Eickhoff is a whole other level of shitty

not untrue but i'm not going to get worked up over the guy who should be what 11th or 12th on the depth charts not being that good? its crazy right now how many pitchers are out....they will trade for another starter and hopefully get some guys back from injury. the far bigger concern are the bats
