But, in the end, it most likely doesn't matter cause the rest of the lineup is in a fog.
These tight squeeze games are putting WAY too much pressure on a battered pitching staff.

To be honest, I don't think it matters. Until the offense drastically improves, I have no criticism to the bullpen generally speaking.

Shaping up to be a fun Subway Series with deGrom and Cole prepared to square off Friday night. Mets should have Nimmo back, hopefully. Lineup starting to get healthy. Need to start hitting.

deGrom is scheduled to pitch Thursday vs the Braves. Yankees catch a break. Stroman vs Cole on Friday where both pitchers have struggled today.
Literally nothing about this team is exciting. None of the players seem to care or willing to put in the extra effort to win tough games. Literally the least competitive group of players ever assembled
As an aside, what the hell happened to Gleyber's power? Guy went from one of the most promising players in the league to a schlub overnight

Have to agree. They don't hit and run, or steal. They don't move runners over. They don't cut down on their swing with two strikes. They have a team full of unathletic dhs who either strikeout, walk or homer. The defense is terrible. Thames ia a poor hitting coach and the offensive philosophy is flawed. It's not a coincidence that Sanchez, Torres and Andujar have all deteriorated significantly after promising starts to their careers. Something stinks in this organization.

I think, as of now, deGrom would be going on extra rest (six days), if the Mets choose to throw him Friday. They are throwing Eickhoff today and Megill Tuesday, so there is a decent shot they choose not to skip Peterson this week and keep it Walker Wednesday and Peterson Thursday, or vice versa.
EDIT: Looks like the probable pitchers on Mets.com has them skipping Peterson on Wed and Thurs.

Out of the ridiculous pool of young talent the Yankees had coming though from 2016-2018, only Judge came anywhere near his expectations.
Seems like something ain't right within the organization in terms of pro development.
Glad we held onto all those prospects that are doing absolutely nothing when we had a window to win a title!

something to keep in mind when Rangers fans are hoping to hold onto every prospect that could become very good to great
Yankee should have given Houston any prospect (Fraizer, Andujar, etc) during 2017. If they had traded for Cole then they probably walk to the championship seeing as we took the Astros to 7 games without him and they had him
