The Yankees depth is def better 1-5. No doubt there. I still think the Mets 1-2-3 could be pretty special though.
That's mainly bc I think Syndergaard gets really underrated here. When his name was rumored at the TDL, you had people saying they'd take Stroman over him, which is insane to me.
His underlying numbers last season were mostly in line with his career. His FIP was good, but he got done in by some bad luck and bad INF fielding. (You could say the Mets won't field any better this year, but you can't knock him for that).
I expect him to bounce back. Prior to this season he had 500+ innings of sub 3 ERA and FIP, low walks, low HR, 10k/9 and nearly 5K/BB. He's a real good pitcher.

The mets have a decent lineup but no depth. The yankees proved they have the most depth in mlb. Will be interesting to see how they stack up if everyone stays healthy for the year but I think there's a better chance of the Knicks making the playoffs.
The rotations are close and arguable either way, the bull pens are probably closer than anyone thinks with a bounce back from Diaz but the gap in lineups is still pretty major

Off the field injury that was not because of working out or training. There was probably something in the deal about this
obviously depends on the wording of the contract but normally it’s an issue if the guy is doing something wreckless. So the reports that he was riding a horse made sense as lots of guys have clauses that they can’t do that or ride motorcycles or whatever
either way something that would only happen to the Mets

we also dumped our pitching coach, and some of our strength & conditioning team. both were things fans were begging for all last season.
