Corbin coming up big in Game 7 of the WS on the road. but the yankees didn't think he was worth it.

I can't...

I moved from NY to DC 4 years ago. In that time, the Caps have Cupped and now the Nats.

First the Blues and now the Nationals. Teams that were dead in the water winning it all.

Alright, the offseason gets in swing in the next few days and we'll start getting some hot stove. Trade talks with Lindor and Betts. Big name pitchers being free agents.

Money is going to be flowing this winter

Cole will get paid by the Angels, Stras will re-up with the Nats.

Yankees will go dumpster diving for a #3-4 pitcher that will struggle to get through the 5th next season.

Betts to Cincinnati, Lindor to the Dodgers for Seager++, not sure about the rest.

The game just ended and we get hit with this stuff

Scott Boras right now.

Nah, you can’t get upset at that quote after losing game 7 of the WS. Honestly, if anything, it points to some tension with HOU management, and hey, **** those guys.

I’m all about Cole on the Yanks. If he goes to Cali, that’s fine, but make him leave $$ on the table.
Exactly this.

Can't do anything about it if he wants to go home, but we can absolutely offer more.

You can somewhat apply a chokers tag to the Astros. For all of their dominance over the last 4 years they only have 1 WS ring to show for it. If you are the best team in baseball (or thereabouts) 4 years running you need more than one title.

I know baseball is unpredictable, but they should not have struggled as much as they did to get through teams as much as they did with that roster.

Just makes it more disappointing that the Yankees couldn't take advantage.. they had so many damn chances to flip that series
