Jake was laboring in this one so I wasn't overly confident putting him out for the 8th.
Nimmo taking one back.
Nimmo taking one back.
Ummmm, hate to brag. Naaah, not true. Hey no one else will for me, so I have no choice.I want Nimms to crush his 4th. Welcome back Nimms, Mets been missing u.
I can't recall another right handed hitter who could crush low, outside pitches the way Alonso does.Damn that ball was crushed. It reverberated throughout the stadium. Because Trea Turner brain fart.
Just an incredible "wingspan" on his swing. He reminds me of Dave Kingman with that long, powerful swing.I can't recall another right handed hitter who could crush low, outside pitches the way Alonso does.
Kingsy had a long reach indeed and amazing power as well...Alonso is definitely more "flexible" as he can reach balls Kingman never could.Just an incredible "wingspan" on his swing. He reminds me of Dave Kingman with that long, powerful swing.
Kingman kept his arms in a lot of times but he was such a huge man that his swing still reached the outer part of the plate. But yeah, Alonso reaches for 'em and his arms are always extended.Kingsy had a long reach indeed and amazing power as well...Alonso is definitely more "flexible" as he can reach balls Kingman never could.
Why do I always think that's George?Whats that song by Ringo Starr? Oh yeah, "It don't come easy".
How do you throw a fastball in that spot...he's been hitting great all year...fouled off two near perfect fastballs to stay alive......sheesh!!!Pitch had no movement. ZERO movement. Don't matter if it's 100 mph. Big league hitters will catch up to it.
