Pretty fun final 2 months I have to say as we were once upon a time 11 games under .500 on July 24th with apparently no shot to even have important games in August and September. Well, the boys showed alot of heart and resiliency to make this one of the more fun playoff races in recent memory.

Not giving up yet until the fat lady sings tho she has been clearing her throat for a few days already...lol
She has laryngitis.

No one is figuring on the brew crew to NOT make it, but nothing is a given. Don't we all know that!
All I want is for us to indeed win 9 of 10, and force those 3 to ALL play above .500. Won't happen. For sure 1 won't and a 50/50 chance a 2nd won't either.
Just win 9 of 10 and see where that lands us.

Funny how Pittsburgh and the Marlins always seem to be involved in these races as potential spoilers.

Aaron Judge is out for tonight's game as he jammed his shoulder diving for a ball last night. Can't wait for the tweet tomorrow that says he's out the rest of the season....and may have surgery to remove the arm...

....LeMahieu, french for MVP indeed.

Kinda strange the union didn't appeal now. It wasn’t when the story was he slapped her in public in front of mlb folks.

Maybe to just get the investigation over with, maybe for PR reasons or maybe they saw indisputable evidence of his guilt that we don't know of . Also, end of season and if he were to be "cleared" then he'd be available for postseason. Wouldn't an appeal delay that?

When the hell did Clint Frazier have time to hit 12 homeruns?

He actually had a really good start to the season offensively. We'll leave his defense out of it but man, I love his swing. It's not beautiful or smooth like the swings we were talking about earlier in the season but it's just so quick, like Gary Sheffield, and he hits laser beams when he connects.

Phillies and Cubs lost, Brewers aren't blinking. As long as we win at least 8 of 10 (prefer 9) I still say we have a shot, and Brewers seem like they wanna get in as well.
Nats might have that crippling choke that they have had before. If the Marlins take 2 of 3, that would be HUGE!
And damn, c'mon Padres, your Madre's are begging you to have a couple beers and beat the Brew Crew to a foam!

Never thought I'd see the day that a Met would hit 50+ homers in my lifetime. Well thank you Pete Alonso. And by the way, I still can't believe he hit that ball that far with a flick of his wrists and with no follow thru.

Just a freakishly strong man he is....amazing. Judge's rookie record of 52 is certainly in danger of being broken and the Mets just keep on doing all they can do to keep their slight playoff hopes alive.
