Can I watch tonight, fellas?
I say okay. It will be the truest of tests from the baseball Gods.
Kind of thinking we dont have much of a shot tonight.

Alonso has 2 homers vs Buehler, maybe that will be enough if he can replicate that, and 1 from Cano. I can see Cano hitting one tonight, for sure.

Arizona and Philly go down, Cubs and Brewers get wins.

Big start with the 2-0 lead, but are they going to be able to win 3 more games than the Brewers the rest if the way? I can see it with the Cubs. Harder time with the Brewers.

They need to win tonight then probably take 5 of 6 or maybe sweep both on the road trip. They're pretty much at a point where they need to win every single day.

Too bad there's a game interrupting the Sunday Night Baseball crew's conversation.

Alex & Co are the most annoying announcers since Mike Emrick.

i know you shouldn't expect a 10-0 stretch but the series in cincy, colorado and then 4 at home against miami you gotta win at least 8 of 10...of course doesn't matter if they can't win a game against atlanta to finish the year

You can't expect it but that's just the unfortunate reality at this point unless the Brewers really choke it away. The Cubs do have 7 left v. the Cardinals so their schedule isn't a layup. The only good thing is this team has shown it's capable of going on a big run and especially so against bad teams.

Now pitching for LA. Carrot Top.
