Tony Gwynn Jr should probably also be added to that list, but Griffey Jr was my favorite growing up so I'd say him. Jeter's inside out swing was also a textbook perfect example to model as a kid.

Re: the whole Noah thing, they should've just done this in the offseason. Hiring BVW with all his big talk only to reneg and start blowing it up is such a terrible look. I really wish they would've hired Chaim Bloom this offseason, but it is what it is.

Is Syndergaard gets us a package like Chris Archer did for the Rays, they better pull the trigger.

Either look at a legit CF prospect or a SS, allowing Rosario to go into CF.

Not only that, they should be trying to move Smith too. He has no spot on this roster. He's not a LF. This is somewhat like Duda/Davis all over again. If they can get a controllable pitcher or OF, they should pull the trigger. Might be an offseason trade tbh.
